Predictions of food prices on the rise are coming from many different sources. Web Bot monk Clif High has already warned of coming food riots later in the year. The predictions have crept into the realm of the real world with people finding that their buying power has been reduced from what they were able to purchase a year ago. Higher gas prices are contributing in the rise to your grocery bill, but the problem goes much further than that.
John Hogue has an excellent article that addresses the problem from the perspective of prophecy. He says, "We have a global civilization that cannot sustain itself. Prices are rising on all commodities but the more potentially volatile commodity going higher primarily are food prices."
