A whale of a quake...

No one likes to see a whole nation suffering under such devastating circumstances as those endured by Japan.  After all, during this time of rapid Earth changes, no one is really out of harm's way.  We can all agree that there is nothing good about the Japanese quake and tsunami, except that it may have put a temporary stop to their whaling fleet and ongoing dolphin slaughter, made infamously famous in The Cove.

Around the internet there is a sentiment floating around that this may have been karmic in nature, with scientific considerations taking a backseat.  Some people will always react to this type of thinking by responding that human life is far more valuable than those of "lesser" animals and no karmic debt is acquired in hunting them.  Japan is 84-96% Buddhist, so they are no strangers to the concept of karma.  Whatever your views, it is purely from the perspective of the individual.

On the other hand, there are a variety of human animals who are currently in cages, and their presence behind bars might negate the argument that no lesser animal is as special as a human being.  Some of these humans are on death row. There are those, I'm sure, who believe that the toenail of an arthritic chipmunk is worth far more than the present "being" of some of the people who find themselves confined, or who may be roaming free, exercising their free will in whatever violent criminal pursuits that appeal to them.

The reason I bring this up in the first place is that I was reading a channeling by Kris Won regarding his recent message from Sitting Bull, one time Chief of the Sioux Nation.  The core of the message is that karmic payback is coming to America for the wanton slaughter of the buffalo, among other humanitarian infractions.

John Hogue is one more voice alerting us that 2011 will be a year of Earth changes of the type we thought were seen only in Hollywood disaster movies.  His opinions are based on astrology charts and, of course, the prophecies of Nostradamus.

The current cheerless development concerning the Japanese nuclear reactors puts a lot of  non-Japanese people at risk, people located in whatever direction the winds care to blow.

It's this type of cataclysmic event that brings to mind the termination of past civilizations, when they too went through the same cosmic cycles we are currently transiting.  They say this time will be different, that there will be an auspicious ending, but not before we go through the rapids.

And if you think the above is a bit too much to swallow, check out Japan-based  Benjamin Fulford's blog to see what he believes caused the devastation.
