Sometimes the best things in life are the mundane things that comprise your day-to-day existence. One of the things that comprise our daily life is Charlie, a new addition to our family. He's a rescue dog and the best we can come up with is that he's a wire-haired terrier.The video is the first I took of him when he came home. It was the first time I saw him and he was very leery of me from the start. I couldn't get anywhere near him. It took about a week for him to feel safe with me and now there are times when I can't get him to leave me alone.
I have a strong feeling that he ran away from his previous owners because he was just too fast to catch. He wasn't chipped or neutered before he ended up at the animal shelter. And as far as we know, they didn't come looking for him. He's gotten away from us a few times and it was a chore getting him back on leash. He didn't run because he wanted to get away. He ran because he wanted to play. His temperament is all terrier. He's as curious as a cat and can be annoyingly stubborn.
